Location 13 Mari Street Alexandra Headland Qld 4572 Alexandra Park Conference Centre is located at Alexandra Headland on the Sunshine Coast 90 minutes North of Brisbane via the Bruce Highway. The centre is nestled amongst 10 hectares of secluded rainforest and just a short stroll to the popular Alexandra Headland patrolled surf beach. The centre is located within close proximity to the many Sunshine Coast attractions including Underwater World and Australia Zoo. Accommodation Maximum on site accommodation 250, Minimum group size 25; Alexandra Park provides comfortable and modern facilities in three styles of accommodation – budget friendly dormitory style rooms, ensuite rooms and our two-bedroom bungalows. All accommodation is bunk beds, the bungalows, set amongst the natural forest at Alexandra Park, are the latest style in group accommodation and are perfect for retreats and environmental camps. Our ensuite rooms provide increased comfort for up to four guests. Whilst our dormitory rooms accommodate between 4 – 16 guests; along with shared toilet and shower facilities. Meals Fully catered; providing breakfast, morning tea, lunch , afternoon tea, dinner and supper. Packed lunches are available upon request and special dietary needs are catered for. Facilities Facilities include a variety of meeting areas including two large auditoriums, functions and meeting rooms. The large auditoriums with data projectors and screens can be opened into one area to seat 500. Alexandra Park is also equipped with a 25 metre shaded swimming pool, grass playing field, a recreational lake suitable for canoeing, a grass volleyball court and a recreational room. Activities In conjunction with a number of activity providers, Alexandra Park provides a range of adventure activity programs. On site programs include a high ropes course, climbing activities and canoeing / rafting. Off site the local surf club, only five minutes walk away, offer inexpensive surf and beach awareness programs for school and family groups. The benefits of programming include: increased self-confidence, practical life skills, group initiative, leadership and willingness to attempt new and challenging tasks. All programs can be designed to complement school curricular activity. Disabled access Most areas of our site are accessible to people with disabilities.
